Can I tell you a secret?
The Bible is not (primarily) about you.
Too often, we approach Scripture hoping it will give us answers about ourselves:
-
Who am I?
-
Why am I here?
-
What should I do with my life?

Those are good questions—and God invites us to bring them to Him. But the Bible is first and foremost a revelation of who God is and how He has made Himself known.

When we read Scripture to know God—not just to get answers—we discover that God’s Word doesn’t simply inform us.
It transforms us.
Through teaching, writing, and guided study, I help Christ-followers:
-
grow in confidence reading Scripture
-
see how the Bible fits together as one unified story
-
encounter God more deeply through His Word
Whether you’re new to studying the Bible or have spent years in it, my goal is the same:
spiritual formation, not just information.

Encountering Yahweh
A 10-Week Bible Study of Exodus 1-18
The story of the exodus is the foundational model of God’s redemption—and it shapes how we understand Jesus, salvation, and our identity as God’s people.
In this study, we’ll explore:
-
Who God reveals Himself to be in Exodus
-
Why Exodus is essential for understanding the gospel
-
How God forms His people in their wilderness experiences
Hi, I'm Katy.
I love:
-
teaching about God and His Word
-
my husband and kids
-
chai lattes
-
penguins
Not necessarily in that order. (But mostly.)
I’ve spent decades in and around Scripture—and I’m still amazed by how alive it is. I love seeing how themes weave through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, revealing a God who is faithful, intentional, and deeply relational.
